I have taught in a variety of grade levels in several schools prior to moving to Adams seven years ago. I have previously taught at Roper, Rousseau, Humann, and Huntington Elementary Schools within the Lincoln Public School System. My husband and I are originally from Norfolk, Nebraska but have lived in several midwest states. I enjoyed teaching in both Kansas and Missouri prior to returning to Nebraska to live with my family.
My mother began her career as a teacher in a one room school house in rural Nebraska. On several occasions I was able to go with her. I loved visiting that learning community and decided I wanted to grow up to be a teacher in a one room school house. Teaching and learning has always been a part of my life, and although I never had the opportunity to teach in a one room school house, I have been blessed with opportunities to teach and learn with many children and adults in a variety of settings.
My husband, Mark, and I are the proud parents of three children and eight grandchildren. My husband and I love to travel both in the states and in Europe.
