Je m'appelle Madame Tangen et je suis professeur de français à Lincoln Southeast High School.

I am originally from Minnesota, where I started taking French in the 7th grade, and it was my favorite class all through high school (along with band). As a junior, I traveled to France for the first time. I graduated from Gustavus Adolphus College in St. Peter, Minnesota. During my junior year, I studied in Nantes, France. I have also been fortunate to co-lead seven student trips to France throughout the years. I received a Master's Degree in Curriculum and Instruction through Concordia University, Nebraska.  

I taught in Minnesota and North Dakota for eight years before moving to Lincoln in 1997. At Southeast, I've taught all levels of French and sponsored several clubs. This year I will be teaching 2nd Year and 4th Year French. I am also the World Language Department Chair and I co-sponsor the French Club.
