My husband and I have two children, Emmery and Oaklan. They keep us super busy but have blessed us beyond measure!
I love everything about my job! Meeting and building relationships with students from all over the world is such a privilege. I have the utmost respect for students and families who strive to learn English in addition to their home language. I am thankful to be in a position where I can learn so much about other countries through the encounters I have with the students in my classroom.
I graduated from UNL in December 2011, I worked in Omaha at Kellom elementary teaching preschool 2012-2014, commuting back and forth from Lincoln everyday. I got married in May 2014 and in August 2014 I started teaching with LPS at Elliott elementary. I taught preschool there for two years and kindergarten for one year. In December 2015 I graduated from Concordia University with my Master's degree in Reading Specialist with an endorsement in English Language Learning. Finally, in August 2017 I began teaching ELL at Adams elementary and I absolutely LOVE it!
