I grew up in Lincoln and graduated from Southeast High School and UNL.

I have been married to the same kind hearted man since 1987 and we have two wonderful children that currently attend the University of Nebraska.

Med and BS in math education

Certified 4-9 middle level and 7-12 mathematics

Noyce Master Teacher Fellowship and am a National Board Certified Teacher

Recipient of the Freida Beattie Outstanding Educator Award 2011and the Mike Troester Outstanding Educator Award 2014

I taught for ten years at the middle level ( Goodrich and Scott) before coming to LSE in 2000. I have been dept chair since 2005.

I have worked as an adjunct faculty for UNL, Wesleyan, and SCC faculty .
