About me....

I started my teaching career in a one room school in Gothenburg, Nebraska where I taught K-8th grade and had seven students. That was a great experience and I have many fond memories from those two years. Then I moved to Bettendorf, Iowa where I taught 4th grade in a much larger school. I had a wonderful school community and I still keep in contact with many of the staff as well as the students from the families I taught.

I was so thankful to move back to Lincoln, Nebraska. This way I could be closer to my family and friends. I met my husband and found a job at McPhee Elementary. That is still my favorite classroom because every day I could look out my window and see our state capital. A few years later I moved over to Brownell Elementary. I have really enjoyed being here and have enjoyed working with the families and teachers here. I have appreciated learning from others and taking classes each year. Yes, that's right, I've enjoyed going back to school to learn new things.

In my free time I enjoy spending time with my family and friends. It has been so much fun having three children at home to play with when I get off work. I also enjoy golfing, biking, and reading.
