I live on a small farm with my wife, Susie, and our children, Uta and Thor.  My wife is also a teacher in LPS.  My university coursework was done at the University of LIncoln, where I earned my doctorate in 1992.

I am also professional musician, and play saxophone and keyboards in three bands: Soul Dawg, a horn-driven rhythm and blues band; The Wheezetones, a classic rock band; and Creation, a praise band at St. Marks United Methodist Church.
