I am originally from Columbus, Nebraska. I moved to Lincoln to attend college and loved the town and education system so much, I wanted to stay permanently. I have wanted to be a teacher for as long as I can remember. My favorite part about teaching is guiding students as they learn something new and being excited for them as they figure it out.
Professional Experience
I received my Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln in December 2007. In May 2010 I received my Master's Degree in Curriculum and Instruction from Doane University.
I have done practicums and student teaching in Lincoln Public Schools. I substitute taught in every grade level before getting hired at Pyrtle Elementary. I have taught 2nd and 4th grade at Pyrtle since March 2008.
