My name is Cindy Coon.  I started working back in December of 2001 as a Nutrition Services Employee at Northeast High School.  I worked there for 3 years, and decided to further my food service employment and get into the manager trainee program.  The 2005-2006 year I trained at North Star High School, Prescott Elementary, Randolph and Lakeview before getting the Manager position at Hartley Elementary in the fall of 2007.  I worked for 2 years at Hartley before coming to my current position at Culler MiddleSchool as the Cafeteria Manager.  I will be starting my 4th year at my alma mater Charles Culler Middle School this 2012-2013 school year.

I live in a single parent household with my 3 children and 1 grandson.  My oldest daughter is studying to be a secondary education teacher at the UNL.  My son is getting his associate's degree at Scc in business.  And my youngest daughter is a junior at LNE High School.  My grandson attends Brownell elementary school.  I have enjoyed being involved with my children in school functions and their activities over the last several years. 

I always look forward to the next school year with the newer 6th grade students coming to Culler and the 7th and 8th grades returning to our school for another wonderful year of nutritious breakfast, lunch, snack and newly added fresh fruit and vegetable program.  Good luck to all of our terrific students and staff for a great year of learning.
