My name is Dara Peters and I am so excited to meet your students this year! I was born and raised in Lincoln, where I attended West Lincoln, Goodrich and Lincoln High School. I attended and received my Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln and my Masters in Educational Administration in December, 2020. 

My husband Bradley and I lived in Austin, Texas for two years. We then spent three years in New Haven, Connecticut while Bradley earned his MFA from Yale University. We have two boys, Lennon, 12 and Ellis 10 and one girl, Tilly who will be 7 in August.

This will be my 11th year working for LPS and my 5th year teaching at Beattie. I taught Kindergarten for five years at Campbell and one year at Huntington. I love spending time with my family and friends, reading and watching my favorite hockey team, the New York Rangers.
