My name is Kristy Kennedy and I am honored to begin my 20th year in education as the Instructional Coordinator at Wysong!  I graduated from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln with a degree in Elementary Education and with a Master's Degree in Educational Leadership from Doane University. During my career in education I have taught Kindergarten, First Grade, Fourth Grade, Fifth Grade, and Academic Intervention.

Outside of school, I enjoy spending my time with my wonderful husband, Ricky, and our three children: Carson, Colton, and Everly. Most of my time is spent with my family exploring the outdoors, cooking, and playing games. In my personal time, I enjoy traveling, reading, listening to live music, and grabbing a cup of coffee with friends. Growing up in Schuyler, Nebraska I am a proud Husker fan! I love going to football and volleyball games whenever I get the chance. Go Big Red!

I possess a deep passion for supporting each and every student. I hope to pass on the mentality of being a lifelong learner to my students as well as a passion for loving life and others! It is a true joy investing daily in the lives of students, families, and staff!
