My name is Kristen Thurman and I grew up in Lincoln, NE. I have moved around a little and have had the opportunity to teach in Lincoln and in Kansas City Public Schools.
My mission as an educatior is to create and spread happiness. I want to foster a fire in others, guide with an open heart, and be someone that others look up to for support and inspiration.

Professional Experience
I received by Bachelors of Science in Elementary Education from the University of Nebraska- Lincoln in 2014 and my Masters of Educational Leadership from Doane University in 2023.
This is my 9th year in education. I have taught in early childhood education, 4th grade, 1st grade, Kindergarten, and 5th grade.
