My name is Kristy Voigt and this is my fifth year teaching first grade at Adams Elementary!  I have enjoyed teaching 20 plus years for Lincoln Public Schools.

I graduated with a dual degree in Elementary Education and Special Education from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. I have my Masters Degree in Curriculum and Instruction through Doane College.  I taught thirteen years in a Title One School, nine of those years as a Reading Recovery Teacher.

Teaching first graders in the Adams Community is an active learning experience!  I am so fortunate to work on a collaborative team of teachers, staff and community.
