Born in Gillette, Wyoming and raised in Nebraska I have learned to appreciate and love life in the Midwest. My roots in Nebraska have made me into the person that I am and I aspire to continue to flourish within this community.
I obtained a Bachelors degree in Fine Arts in Studio Arts from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln in 2009 with a concentration in Pottery and Printmaking. For the following three years, I did Educational Arts Programming for the Lincoln Arts Council while also completing coursework at UNL for my K-12 Art teaching certification. I joined Lincoln Public Schools in the Fall of 2013 as an Art Specialist teaching 9-12 grade Pottery. I look forward to continuing to teach and build relationships with the students of North Star High School.
