I was born in Lincoln, Nebraska. I come from a large family of 7 children. I was homeschooled until I was in 7th grade. Then I began attending a local private school here in Lincoln. I graduated in 2009 and then began my journey into college. I decided to attend the Univeristy of Nebraska at Lincoln. I knew from a young age that I wanted to teach and so I declared my major in Elementary Education. Throughout college I worked for the Lincoln Parks and Recreation Centers doing Before and After School programs as well as Summer Camps. I graduated from UNL in May of 2014. This will be my fourth year teaching in LPS. I taught 5th grade at McPhee Elementary for one year and will be teaching 4th grade for my third year here at Clinton. My favorite thing to do is spend time with my husband Nick and our daughter Hazel. I love to read, play volleyball and basketball and spend any time that I possibly can outside. I am also spending a lot of my free time working on obtaining my Masters Degree in Curriculum and Instruction at Doane University.
