Hello there! I am looking forward to what will be my third-year teaching art at Riley Elementary. I am ecstatic to have the opportunity to create art with your child! I'm eager to getting to know all of my students, but here's a little about me:

I was born in Columbus, Nebraska, but have spent most of my life growing up in a small town called Shelby, Nebraska. I have had a passion for the arts ever since I could remember, and found my love for teaching just a little after! Thus, I decided, why don't I just combine my two biggest passions; art and teaching! If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to reach out via e-mail. I am anticipating another artisitically inspiring year!

Professional Experience

I graduated with my Bachelor of Fine Arts from the University of Nebraska, Lincoln in May of 2022, and recieved my Master of Education from Doane University in December of 2023. I have previously taught at the Lux Center for the Arts, which includes educating art with private lessons, camps, and courses to all ages. I have been able to display my artwork within several galleries, including the Kiechel and the Eisentrager-Howard Gallery. I have participated in painting multiple murals, one in which is located in City Impact. Here, I was the chief artist that got to design the large mural and build community with the locals. There have also been multiple events where I have gotten to volunteer my time, one including the Columbus Nebraska Arts Council camps!
