I am currently teaching 5th grade at Pershing Elementary School.
I graduated from the University of Nebraska in 1986 with a Bachelor's Degree in Education. In 1991, I received a Master in Education, a Middle School Endorsement and a Secondary Social Studies degree from the University of Nebraska at Kearney. In 2002, I earned my Administrative Degree at the University of Nebraska.
For the past 30 years, I have been an educator. In the Grand Island Public School District, I taught the first, third and sixth grades. My journey led me to Lincoln where I have taught sixth grade at the elementary and middle school levels, been an elementary coordinator and currently teach 5th grade at Pershing.
I love the learning process. My focus is to collaborate with students, parents and teachers to create the best learning environment possible for student achievement. I believe that by developing academic, social and behavioral skills all students can achieve their goals.
