J.P. Caruso has been a teacher at Lincoln High for ten years, and has served as Social Studies Department Chair for seven of those years. His passion for social studies stems mostly from his avid interest in the two-party political system in the U.S., but he also enjoys the social history of the United States and Latin America. J.P. was drawn to teaching in college, when he realized that he could draw upon his own experiences as a student to help young people find direction and purpose in school. J.P. is a bit of a technology buff, and also enjoys photography and reading. He and his wife have two beautiful daughters, and a third child on the way late this spring.
