Growing up, I found a passion for reading through a summer reading program my mother created for me. As I moved through grade school, I realized I not only loved reading, but I loved English class itself. When I began to think about what I wanted to do with my life, I realized that I wanted to help people. I put these two dreams together, and decided that I wanted to become an English teacher. I am passionate about helping students reach their full potential and continue to pursue my own learning in order to further help and educate students.
