I graduated from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln in 2009 with my Bachelors of Education and Human Sciences, certified to teach art K-12. In 2014, I received my masters in Curriculum and Instruction from Doane College. I have taught 6-8th grade art at Pound for five years, in addition to teaching Art Methods courses at the master level for Doane College. I have volunteered as a co-chair for Youth Art Month, creating a celebration at the State Capitol to honor students from around the state. I am on the PBIS (Positive Behavioral Intervention Supports) committee for Pound.
