This is my 20th year teaching.  I love teaching, and it is my passion to work with families of diverse cultures!  Right out of college, I moved to the Northern Mariana Islands (near Guam) to teach first and second grade.  I stayed there for four years before returning to Nebraska.  After that, I had the opportunity to work at an elementary school in the heart of downtown Omaha, Nebraska.  I taught English Language Learners there for another four years.  After eight years of being away from my hometown, I moved back to Lincoln.  I've enjoyed working for Lincoln Public Schools and contributing to is high standard of excellence for the last 11 years.

In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my family, hiking, and camping.  I have an 8 year old and 6 year old twins.  All boys!  I love to travel.  So far, I have visited Japan, Philippines, Guam, Thailand, Australia, and Mexico.
