I am thrilled to be the principal of Fredstrom Elementary and privileged to work with the most amazing students, dedicated staff members and supportive families in all of Lincoln. While I have been principal since 1998, I actually became a Fredstrom Falcon (Team A - grades 1/2 teacher) the year the school opened in 1983. It was an incredible experience to be able to help create and establish a culture of high expectations for student learning and behavior, which I am pleased to say, continues today.
I am also a wife and mother of two great kids, so there is rarely a minute to spare in our busy days. My husband, Bill, is the Principal at Schoo Middle School, and my daughter is student teaching at Belmont Elementary, so education is important to our family. Our son works at a golf course, and is constantly learning the game too. I knew from a very young age (I played school with my little sister all the time) that I was meant to be a teacher (and I firmly believe that as a principal I am still a teacher). It truly is the best job in the whole world!
