Abigail Bliss is a Nebraska native hailing from the small town of Tekamah. She grew up loving singing, movies, and books. Currently, gardening, supporting local food, ultimate frisbee, choral singing and yoga are big hobbies for her.
Professional Experience
Abigail has been teaching since 2010. Her first experience teaching was at the Alpha School in Omaha as an Educational Specialist working with students in special education. After three years in Omaha, she began working in Columbus, Nebraska as a Behavior Teacher at Lost Creek Elementary. In 2015, she joined LPS as a Resource Teacher at Elliott Elementary. After taking a year working with school gardens in 2016, she accepted a position at Irving in 2017 as a Science Teacher. In 2023 she decided to go back into Special Education at Cavett and Beattie.
