Hello and welcome to our third grade family!

About me

My family is originally from Bosnia and Herzegovina. Due to the war in the 90s, my family had moved to Germany. I was born in Germany, and we came as refugees to Lincoln, Nebraska when I was a year old. Lincoln has been home ever since. I have one sister, who was born here. 

In high school, I participated in Student Council and Speech. In my free time, I love reading, working out (especially Zumba), walks, and spending time with family and friends.  

Education

I grew up with Lincoln Public Schools. I went to Beattie and Adams Elementary, Scott Middle, and Southwest High School. I have always believed in the power of education, and have always wanted to instill the love of learning to students. Since third grade, I have wanted to be a third grade teacher, and it is amazing that I get to live out my dream everyday! 

I am looking forward to working alongside you and your student this coming school year!
