My hometown is Hastings, Nebraska which is the birthplace of Kool-Aid and Tom Osborne. I graduated from Hastings Senior High School 57 years after Tom Osborne in the year 2012. After graduating I attended Hastings College for my freshman year, but I wanted to leave home and experience something different, so I transferred to the University of Nebraska - Lincoln after that one year. It was the best decision of my life. I graduated from UNL in May 2017 with a Bachelor's in Secondary Education and quickly landed my first teaching job at Culler Middle School. 

I am a HUGE Husker fan (GO BIG RED!!!) and love to both play and watch any sport that I can. Outside of playing/watching sports, I enjoy playing with my 1 year old son Sam, listening to music, and once in awhile playing a little XBOX.
