This is my 13th year teaching. I taught elementary art for two years before taking the leap to ELL where I have spent the last 10 years. I had the opportunity to help re-open Culler as an ELL Middle School site and have seen it grow over the last seven years. Unfortunately, I can't speak multiple languages, except for a bit of Spanish, I just really enjoy learning about other cultures and being an advocate for students and families new to the United States.
Professional Experience
I graduated from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln in 2007 with a Bachelors in K-12 Art Education. During my first year of teaching I obtained my K-12 ELL/ESL Endorsement from Concordia University and will finished my Master's in Educational Administration from the University of Nebraska-Kearney in December of 2018.
