I am originally from Southeast Iowa. I attended Concordia University Nebraska where I studied Middle Level Education focusing on the areas of social sciences and language arts. While at Concordia, I also gained my endorsement in teaching English language learners. I graduated from Concordia in May 2011.

My husband and I moved to Ft. Myers, FL after graduating. We lived in Ft. Myers for 2 years before moving to Lincoln. I taught 4th grade at Trinity Lutheran School for 2 years and then became a reading teacher here at Schoo. 

This is my second year teaching at Schoo. I teach Reading Ideas, and Langauge Arts Communications (LaCA).
