About Me

My schedule varies day to day.  If you would like to schedule a time to meet or talk with me, please send me an email so we can schedule a time!

I began my career in education in 2002 at Goodrich Middle School as a Family and Consumer Science teacher after completing my bachelor’s degree in Education with endorsements in Diversified Occupations, FCS Vocational educations and a minor in dance from the University of Nebraska at Kearney. When Goodrich was being remodeled in 2009, I taught at Goodrich-at-Dawes for two years. When Dawes re-opened in 2011, I joined the staff as a counselor after earning my Master of Arts degree in school counseling from the University of Nebraska at Lincoln.  Most recently, I earned my School Administrative Certificate from UNL in 2019.

I grew up in Lincoln and attended Sheridan Elementary, Irving Middle and Lincoln High schools. I have a passion for the Lincoln Public Schools system and feel honored to be part of its growth. I live on an acreage near Syracuse, NE and have been married for 16 years to my husband Jeff. We have two children, Skyla (14) and Keaton (9). My husband is a carpenter for LPS. We enjoy remodeling, refurbishing, and creating furniture and home décor in our free time. We also enjoy camping, being outdoors, spending time with family and friends, and watching our children grow and find their passions.

I look forward to assisting my students as they transition to middle school and through adolescence and onto high school. I enjoy working and building relationship with students and their parents, and build a positive and innovative culture that will support student growth and achievement.
