My name is Becky Bricker and I grew up in Colby, Kansas. I knew in first grade that I wanted to be a teacher. I graduated from Kansas State University with my teaching degree. 

I taught Head Start in Michigan, (my husband's home state), kindergarten in Phoenix, AZ and then stayed home with my two sons when we lived in Cheyenne, WY and Lawton, OK. We moved to Lincoln in 2003. I was a substitute teacher for a few years and then got my dream job teaching first grade at Roper where I will be starting my fifteenth year.

I have two grown sons and my husband teaches at Nebraska Wesleyan.

I can't wait to meet my new first graders and to be their teacher this year.
