I am originally from Norfolk, NE and grew up in a teacher family. After high school, I continued my education at Doane University where I also played on the women's basketball team. In my free time I love to travel the world and watch/play any sport!

I believe passion is the key to teaching. In my classroom, I hope my students see my enthusiam for science everyday and feel they are an importnat part of the classroom environment. I believe students are naturaly curious to learn, explore, and discover things about our world. 

I will also be coaching girls' basketball at Southeast High School.
