I'm an avid reader who has spent my life and career in books. In addition to majoring in English, I have had a past career in publishing, working with a range of subjects and readers from math textbooks to comics and graphic novels. Although I wore many titles during my time in publishing, Editor is the one I connect with the most. I am at my best when I am helping others find their voices and using those voices to reach their audiences. This is the perspective I bring into my classroom on a daily basis: to help students find their voices so that they can reach their audiences as they make their way into their communities and the world at large.
