Hello,

My name is Brett Schuster and I am a native of Beatrice, NE.  After graduating from Beatrice High School, I attended Nebraska Wesleyan University where I majored in History and Secondary Education and was a member of the football team. 

For the first five years of my teaching career I lived in Denver, CO where I taught U.S. History, Psychology, and AP Psychology, and coached varsity football and track and field at a large 5A high school.  I joined the Lincoln Southwest staff in 2013, and for 6 years I taught World History, AP World History, and AP Psychology.  In addition to teaching, I also served as the Head Track and Field Coach and as an Assistant Varsity Football Coach during that time.  In 2019, I joined the LSW administrative team. 

My wife, Brittany, and I live in Lincoln, and we have two sons, Hank and Mack.

We love the outdoors and all forms of athletics.  We enjoy fishing, Husker football, and travelling to Lake McConaughy to spend time with family and friends.  

I am looking forward to another great year at Lincoln Southwest!
