I grew up primarily in Lincoln, NE and attended St. Peter's Grade School and St. Pius X High School. From a young age, I knew I wanted to be a teacher and work with children. Before becoming a teacher, I worked at a daycare, taught Spanish as an after school elective at St. Peter's School, and worked at the after school program at Villa Marie School in Waverly.
Since joining Lincoln Public schools in 2006, I have spent time teaching in two schools. I spent two years at Culler Middle School working as a resource teacher and I have been at Roper ever since where I've spent time working in Kindergarten, 1st grade, 2nd grade, and 4th grade as a resource teacher.
I attended and graduated from the University of Nebraska at Lincoln with a bachelor's degree in Education and Human Sciences.
I am endorsed as an Elementary School Teacher and as a Special Education Teacher.
