I attended school all over the United States growing up. I grew to love learning at a very young age with all of our travels and experiences. I finished high school here in Lincoln at Southeast. I attended the University Of Nebraska at Lincoln and have returned there for a Masters degree and for my 36 hours beyond. I am a life long learner and love to teach.
My family is here in Lincoln and we enjoy being a part of this great community. We are very active in the community.
Professional Experience
I have taught at Saratoga since 1997. My undergraduate degree from UNL is in Elementary Education K-6/Special Education K-9 focusing on Learning Disabilities, Mild/ Moderate and Behavior Disorders. I have a Masters degree in Special Education K-12 with an emphasis in Behavior Disorders. I taught Reading Recovery and Lit. Support for 3 years. I currently teach first grade. I always knew I wanted to be a teacher!
