Courtney Pentland is the school librarian at North Star High School. 

She has worked in education for 19 years--as a high school English teacher, a high school librarian, an elementary librarian, and as lead teacher/research librarian for a school district's library services department.

She is also adjunct faculty for the University of Nebraska-Omaha Library Sciences program, a board member of the Nebraska School Librarians Association, a blogger for Knowledge Quest-a publication of the American Association of School Librarians, and the Curriculum Connection Editor for School Library Connection.
