I am passionate about helping students care about learning and learn about caring.  

I grew up in the Lincoln and Hickman areas.  After graduating from Doane College, I began teaching at Eastridge Elementary.  Later I helped open Lux Middle School.  From there I moved south....to Cochabamba, Bolivia.  I served as a missionary teacher at Carachipampa Christian School for twelve years.  I worked with students and families from over fourteen different countries.  I came back to Lincoln in 2013 with two suitcases and my two dogs. I have continued to grow along with my students and their families.  I look forward to seeing how we learn from one another in the year ahead.
