My name is Claire Thomas, and I am a Third Grade Teacher at Zeman Elementary School.  I grew up in Henderson, Nebraska.  I earned my teaching degree from Nebraska Wesleyan University in Elementary and Special Education.  My teaching career began in Lincoln at Belmont Elementary where I taught Fourth and Fifth Grade Special Education.  In 1999, I transferred to Everett Elementary where I taught First, Second, and Third grades.  In 2013, I came to Zeman Elementary where I have taught First grade and am currently teaching Third grade.  My husband Matt and I have three children.  Macie is a college student, Ellie is in high school, and Grant is a middle schooler.  They keep us busy with their various activities they participate in.  I feel privileged to be a part of the Zeman community.
