I was born in Gretna, Nebraska––where I began my teaching career in 1985 as a resource teacher. I graduated from Kearney State College that same year.
In the early '90s I moved to Lincoln and married my husband Doug. Today we have two grown sons. I’ve been teaching in the LPS school system for over 25 years now, and not a single day has been boring. My favorite part about working with students daily is witnessing the little epiphanies that occur every time a new concept “clicks.”
