I am an avid learner and enjoy bringing the passion of learning to my students. When Roper decided to have the ELL program, I couldn’t wait to begin having my own ELL classroom.
My educational journey began as a speech/language pathologist in the schools and then into the healthcare system. When my children were young, I wanted to work in the healthcare system with geriatric patients. This provided me with more energy for my children. As my children grew older, I wanted to work with more children and returned to education within the elementary schools.
I continued my journey by receiving an endorsement for teaching English Language Learners and later received a second Masters of Education Degree in Educational Leadership from DOANE College.
