Hello! Here I will tell you a little bit about my journey of how I got to where I am.
I am from Norfolk, NE. I went to a very small school from preschool through 8th grade with an average grade class size of 8 students throughout my time there. I then transferred to a public high school for my next 4 years until graduation with a grade class size of about 330 students. I graduated high school in 2013 then moved to Lincoln to begin college in the fall of 2013.
In my collegiate experience I completed many hours of shadowing, volunteering, practicum experiences, and working different positions that would give me more experience in my educational practice. I graduated in May of 2017 with a Bachelor's degree in Secondary Special Education: Moderate-Severe.
After I graduated college I began working at Goodrich Middle School in the fall of 2017 as a special education teacher with the Life Skills program.
