I was born and raised in Norfolk, NE. I initially started my teaching career at Norfolk Public Schools as a Reading Interventionist and 1st grade teacher. In 2003, my family and I moved to Lincoln, where I’ve had the privilege of teaching Preschool, 3rd, 4th and 5th grade. Additionally, I spent time working with children and families in Lincoln through a nonprofit agency. I served as the Administrator for Early Childhood, School Age and Prevention services, tailored to supporting safety while nurturing the growth and development of children.
My husband, Pat, and I have been married for 18 years and have 2 children, Masen, 15 and Sophia, 11. I am a dance mom and fierce basketball mom that loves to support my kids! One unique fact about me is that I was the New Year’s baby in my hometown!
