I always knew I wanted to be a teacher. I grew up in the classroom; my father a high school science teacher and my mother a first grade teacher took me to school with them often and taught me the love of the profession. I began my career in the Fall of 1995 at Dawes Middle School. In 2009 I was fortunate to join the Schoo Middle School staff for their opening year. Throughout my teaching career I have had the opportunity to complete my Master's Degree, participate on many school and district committiees, as well as collaborate with others across the state. I recently completed my coursework for an administrative certificate, and though I truly enjoy the classroom I am ready to work in a new position in the education field.
