My life-long mission is to make a difference in other people's lives.
I was born and raised in Lincoln and I guess you can consider me as one of those "die hard" Husker football fans. I have been married for 16 years to my beautiful wife Sally. We have two amazing daughters-- Brooklynn who is 9 and Emersyn who is 5 years old. They both bring happiness and joy to our lives everyday!
A few of our family favorites include: eating out, movies, traveling, and hanging out at home.
Honestly, the wonderful teachers that I had throughout my LPS career is what led me to become a teacher. Some of the best memories of my childhood are of the relationships that I established with these teachers. In fact, I am still in contact with some of them today! It is my hope to "give back" the passion, inspiration, and knowledge that I received from LPS teachers.
I earned my Bachelor's Degree in Art History at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln in 2004 and my Master's Degree in Art Education at the University of Missouri-Columbia in 2009. Additionally, I earned my Master's degree in Educational Leadership from Doane University in 2018.
For the 2019-2020 school year, I will be starting a new role as the Instructional Coordinator. I look forward to learning and growing in this new position. I am excited about the opportunity to help both students and staff in a larger capacity.
