About Me

My life-long mission is to make a difference in other people's lives.

I was born and raised in Lincoln and I guess you can consider me as one of those "die hard" Husker football fans.  I have been married for 18 years to my beautiful wife Sally.  We have two amazing daughters-- Brooklynn who is 11 and Emersyn who is 7 years old.  They both bring happiness and joy to our lives everyday!
A few of our family favorites include:  eating out, movies, traveling, and hanging out at home.

The wonderful teachers I had throughout my LPS career led me to become an educator.  Some of the best memories of my childhood are of the relationships that I established with these teachers.  In fact, I am still in contact with some of them today!  It is my hope to "give back" the passion, inspiration, and knowledge that I received from LPS teachers.

Professional Experience

I earned my Bachelor's Degree in Art History at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln in 2004 and my Master's Degree in Art Education at the University of Missouri-Columbia in 2009. Additionally, I earned my Master's degree in Educational Leadership from Doane University in 2018.

I will be starting my 3rd year as the Instructional Coordinator at Mickle Middle School. I have learned valuable lessons from great leaders during my short time at Mickle. I look forward to the upcoming 2021-21 school year.
