I am one of 12 Professional Learning Coaches serving LPS K-12 schools. My core schools include Lincoln Northeast and North Star High Schools, while also supporting Lincoln High, Bryan, Schoo, and Park on an on-call basis.
I took a different path to pursue my teaching career. I originally went to school and obtained a bachelor's degree in Marketing. I have a passion for marketing that began while participating in DECA during high school. After working for a few years at a local pharmaceutical research company I decided I wasn't happy doing what I was doing, I needed more. In 2010 I decided to go back to school to earn my teaching certificate in Business Education. I started my teaching career at Mickle Middle School in 2012 and moved on to LNE in 2014. While at LNE, I went back to school and earned my MBA in 2018 through Wayne State College.
When I am not at LNE, I am usually busy entertaining my two children. My husband and I are lucky to be the parents of Trey, our 10 year old son, and Jaiden, our 6 year old daughter. Life with two children is definitely a little crazy, but we couldn't be more happy! Our family also includes two dogs - a loyal 9 year old black lab/german shepard mix and a 5 year old boxer, Harper.
