My name is Jennifer Hermsen. I teach Visual Art. I have been teaching since 1999. I teach visual art at Prescott. I have taught Visual Art at Belmont, 5th grade at Pershing, Visual Art and Interventions at McPhee, Visual Art and Interventions at Brownell Elementary Schools. In my first year of teaching I taught Visual Art in Cozad, NE.
My other job is being a mom to two boys. Ryne is in middle school and Calder is in elementary school. I am normally busy playing, following the boys' sports, and reading. I enjoy spending time with friends and scrapbooking when I have time.
In the area of Visual Art I will use the Lincoln Public Schools art curriculum. Focusing on the Visual Art Standards and the Creative Process. Using the elements and principles of art will we create projects ranging from drawing to clay throughout the year.
