I am originally from Lincoln though I spent many of my early years in the Bertrand and Kearney areas of Central and Western Nebraska. I graduated from Kearney Senior High School and subsequently pursued and received an undergraduate degree in Gender Studies from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. I received my teaching certification in Secondary Language Arts from the Graduate College of Education at Doane University and I am currently finishing coursework for my masters in curriculum and instruction. I have coached debate at East since 2014. Prior to East, I have coached at both Lincoln High and Millard North.
