I teach Kindergarten and I love this grade!!!
I have wanted to work with children all my life. I worked at YMCA Camp Kitaki for 8 summers, 1992-1999. This is one of my all time favorite experiences working with children ages 7-17 and I think it is one of the best place on this Earth. I have always taught at Humann Elementary. I have taught 4th grade, 1st grade and currently I teach Kindergarten. I love the families and kids at Humann Elementary.
I enjoy spending time with my husband Brian and our kids, Alex and Ali. We love to be outside! As a family we enjoy golfing, swimming, hiking or just playing in the yard. We love to watch the Huskers play football but even more- we love the Denver Broncos and the Kansas City Royals! We also spend a lot of time with our parents and siblings. Our favorite holidays include the 4th of July and Christmas!
Professional Experience
I am originally from Lincoln, NE where I graduated from Lincoln Southeast High School in 1990. I attended the University of Nebraska at Kearney from 1990-1995 and I received my Masters from Doane- Lincoln campus in 2003. I have taught at Humann Elemenatry School since 1997.
