I grew up in Lincoln and attended Lincoln Public Schools. I attended Bethany Elementary, Mickle Middle School, and graduated from Lincoln Northeast High School. I have a elementary teaching degree from UNL, a special education degree from UNK, and a graduate degree from Doan. My husband and I have three children. Our oldest is a junion at UNL and our younger two are in middle school.
I have been a teacher for about 20 years and worked as an elementary teacher and a secondary special education instructor.
