Hello! My name is Judy Vo. This is my first year teaching at Lakeview Elementary School. I attended the University of Nebraska Lincoln from 2016-2020. I graduated with a Bachelors of Science in Education and Human Sciences with a major in Elementary Educataion and a provisional endorsement in Teaching English Language Learners (this endorsement is still in progress!). Prior to teaching at Lakeview, I substitute taught for Lincoln Public Schools for 1 year and was a teacher assistant for an after school program located at Beattie Elementary and Humann Elementary. 

Growing up, I attended Lincoln Public Schools from K-12. I was also in the English Language Learning program in LPS for 5 years. My family is originally from Vietnam and my first language is Vietnamese. Because of my experiences, I believe that I can relate to many of my wonderful diverse students! I enjoy integrating multiculturalism in my classroom to give my students a richer learning experience. 

I believe all students can learn and it is my priority to meet my students' needs to the best of my ability in order to provide them a safe and rich environment for them to succeed in. I am very excited to team up with you and your child in their learning and growth as a person. My goal as an educator is to encourage students to love learning and to set them and familities up for success in the future!  

In my free time, I enjoy watching movies, crafting, cooking/baking, spending time with family and friends, and shopping.
