Hi! I am Jennifer Wagner, and I am excited to be joining Scott as the Special Education Coordinator. Prior to coming to Scott, I worked as a Special Education Coordinator for Park Middle School and as the Early Childhood Special Education Preschool Coordinator for LPS. I have worked as a Special Education Coordinator long-term sub at Culler Middle School and as a school psychologist in many elementary schools in LPS (Beattie, Kahoa, McPhee, Pershing, and Prescott) and for Crete Public Schools for birth through 21 services. I went to Nebraska Wesleyan for my bachelor’s degree, with a major in psychology and a minor in business administration. I have a master’s degree from Southwest Missouri State University in clinical psychology and an educational specialist degree in school psychology from UNK. My educational administration certification work was completed through UNL. Other professional experiences I have had have included work at a university level Learning Diagnostic Clinic to help college students with disabilities, I worked at a county jail for adults aged 17 and up where I completed intakes and counseling services, I worked for Region V Services as a Life Skills Trainer for adults with disabilities, and I worked as a CNA and Care Staff Member (medication technician) in a nursing home. I have been lucky to work with individuals at all age levels!
