Hello. I'm Janet Wrhel and I teach preschool at Norwood Park Elementary in the morning. This is my sixth year at Norwood Park and Lincoln. I moved here from Wyoming and have really enjoyed my time here.

I have three grown children that I like to spend time with when I can. I enjoy gardening, reading, writing and hiking. My newest passion is kayaking after my children bought me a kayak for Christmas last year. I'm trying to train my dog to kayak with me, but to no avail so far!

Professional Experience

This is my 26th year of teaching and my 6th here at Norwood Park. I have taught in Las Vegas, NV, Wyoming and now in Lincoln. I have also taught many grades ranging from Preschool to 6th grade as well as a Title 1 Reading teacher. My passion and my love has been preschool, by far.

I graduated from the University of Wyoming in elementary education, an endorsement in Early Childhood and Master's in Reading and Literacy.
